Even after they seem to have beaten the odds, they face various hurdles and barriers even after becoming successful in politics. In spite of these problems, they take it in their stride and get on with their careers in politics.

Women in such decision making positions have proved that they are a lot more efficient than some men in such similar positions. There are many countries that encourage women to enter politics by having a particular kind of reservation system where the person who would like to enter politics can do so. This has helped many women to start a fledgling career in politics. It remains to be seen if most of these women are as successful as some women have been.
